Portuguese Tasty Desserts

Having driven by this unassuming storefront maybe a thousand times, I decided to check it out since it is one of the few places that serves up bifanas.

The last time I had bifanas was in Lisbon. They get served pretty quickly here since the meat is already cooked as it has been stewing all day.

That meal deal shown above actually costs less than your fast food combo meal ($9 as of 2024). Comes with the sandwich, a drink, chips, and the desert of your choice - which of course needs to be the pastis de nata.

The nicest lady on earth also will give you a cup of coffee to go.

Lots of people seem to come in for the bakery items and on certain days they have malasadas (I believe it is Saturday currently).
