Three Sisters
(San Pedro Market)
This place used to be called the Garage in the corner of San Pedro Square Market and kind of shares the seating area with the coffee shop. It is closed Monday-Wednesday so it’s not an everyday place.
They’ve got a nice beer selection along with proper cocktail offerings. I have only been here during the day so the night experience might differ a lot.
Again - my main motivation for going here is that it is dog friendly. I can hang out with my pup in a nice comfy environment.
It’s very spacious with some couches along with bench work spaces where it seems a lot of people are actually working all day. The outside area is also very inviting on a nice day with plenty of shaded benches and tables.
The pictures of the three sisters are behind the bar and there was a write up in the Mercury News a few years ago that explained the name:
“The Three Sisters are Anita, Isabella and Emma, the daughters of Capt. Thomas Fallon, an early mayor of San Jose, whose house is a historic site across St. John Street from the market.”
