The Turn

The Turn Bar is located close to Tahoe Keys Blvd and attracts the local crowd. It used to be called the Turn 3 Bar and was a NASCAR themed sports bar. The new owners have renovated and it’s really cleaned up nicely.

They’ve got a pool table and a very good seating layout for a small bar. One of my beefs with bars is sometimes the bar counter itself is too small. They solve that problem by having the bar wind around to make a lot more counter space.

They have a reliable clientele of day drinkers and a surprisingly good whiskey selection. Super dog friendly and now they have an outdoor area in the parking lot since COVID - not sure if it’s a forever thing.

On Saturdays at 2 they have free bingo which is a hit with the locals. It’s a great idea to give away the bar swag that they get from the distributors.

As you would expect, they offer all of the sports watching options and have TVs galore. Very solid stop on the Tahoe dive bar tour.
