Shanghai Kelly’s

This is a good sports-watching bar with a surprisingly good draft beer and whiskey selection for a dive bar.

I found this place because some of my favorite chicken wings in the city are at Hot Sauce and Panko but since they have no seating, I had to find a bar within walking distance with no food service so I could park and munch on them. Luckily Shanghai Kelly’s exists!

This bar has a nice aged feel with the appropriately worn seats and local regulars hanging out. I’ve seen a big mix of people here - young and old. Dogs can hang out so thumbs up from me. Opens at 3 but earlier on a Saturday to meet my day drinking needs.
