Maggie’s (Desolation Hotel)

Maggie’s is a new place where your dog is most welcome and surprisingly so because the place is very nice and really small.

We were there when it was pretty empty in the middle of the day but I would image servers would have to hurdle my dog to get around inside if the restaurant is full.

The place is so new that the menus smell of fresh leather and in keeping with the dog friendly atmosphere the cocktails are all named after dogs.

You reach the bar by walking up several flights of stairs at the Desolation Hotel. The also have an outside dining/drinking area outside the bar and restaurant as well.

This is one of handful of classy places where you can hang out with your dog inside around Tahoe.
