Burger Lounge is known for having big and inventive burgers on their menu. One burger has peanut butter on it (I’ve never had it but some people swear by it).
The place was in jeopardy years ago as the original owner had some landlord dispute and took off. The new owners fortunately kept the same menu and food quality.
One recent improvement is that they made a very big outdoor seating area in the forest area in the back of the restaurant. The inside is very small and the front area can get crowded fast on a busy day.
It’s located on 89 on the right side when heading to Emerald Bay - look for the big mug sticking up on the side of the road. Dogs are welcomed outside and it’s a nice stop after coming back from hiking on the west side of the lake.
