Denver - Summer 2022 (Part 3)

Here are some of the places we ate in Denver. Some of the places in the previous “Bars” post also had good food as well.

Steuben’s

This is a popular American style restaurant that has a diner feel complete with the big desserts. They have big portions that are hard to finish by yourself. They are known for their fried chicken - I forgot to take a photo of my Nashville Hot Chicken before digging into it because I was hungry. Brussel sprouts and Monte Cristo sandwich also shown above. They also have a Reuben sandwich that they only serve on Fridays for some reason.

Jinya

I will admit I was a little skeptical of a ramen place in downtown Denver but I will also admit this place was great.

I wasn’t expecting much but they had really flavorful broth and a decent sized menu. The place has a full bar as well.

The appetizer above is spicy tuna on toasted rice with jalapeno.

Ted’s Montana Grill

I didn’t know that the “Ted” was Ted Turner when I popped into this place. It is located at the end of Larimar Square and they offer your usual solid steakhouse type fare. We had the bison sliders and a steak salad.

I felt it was appropriate to have some bison at least once while we were in town and they had the whole bison head thing going on over the bar here.

Espresso

So one thing I noticed in Denver was that they were giving me sparkling water with my espressos. Is this a new thing?
