I’m not a huge wine guy but any place that takes my dog is ok with me.

Solo Vino is done by Enoteca La Storia people in Los Gatos and is across the street from Henry’s High Life under the overpass not far from the Sharks Arena. It’s a nice place to stop while walk over from San Pedro.

They have tastings on a regular basis and I prefer wine tasting to wine drinking. They usually do the tastings by region so they select bottles from a certain geography and give you a range of different styles from the region.

A bottle is a big commitment but tastings are a good time as they give you the history and backgrounds of each of the wines that they selected.

They are also a wine store with a good selection that is very reasonably priced.
